Michael and Edith Coombes went on their first mission trip to West Africa in 1989 and since then have established many ministries and local businesses in many African nations.
Years of 1995 to 2001 ~ West Africa
Michael & Edie went to Ivory Coast, West Africa to establish micro-projects such as a yogurt business, a sewing business, a taxi business, a rice field business and several other small businesses. They also directed a Bible School where they taught Bible classes and micro-enterprise classes.
Years of 2009 to 2010
Michael & Edie went to several African nations including Zambia, Burundi, Rwanda and South Africa to establish “micro-enterprise' businesses for the local Christians in great financial need.
Years of 2011-2013 ~ Ghana
Michael & Edie Coombes established “Faith Bible & Agricultural School” in Ghana, Africa. Bridgehouse Ministries partnered with Faith School of Theology and Dr Jeffrey Bell to launch a brand new concept to train Christian men and woman to be pastors and also train them in an agricultural businesses including “food tunnel” vegetable farming, chicken farming and talapia fish farming. Now, newly ordained pastors could start a church and be financially independent!
